EnVision played a crucial role in the project by assisting the client with a comprehensive range of services, including TTC tunnel monitoring and Settlement & Shoring monitoring during the shoring and excavation stages. EnVision conducted thorough Noise, Vibration, and Air Quality monitoring to ensure that any potential impacts to the surrounding neighborhood were minimized and controlled. Further, EnVision served as the environmental specialist for the project, ensuring Environmental Management Plans were meticulously developed and implemented to maintain compliance with applicable environmental standards and regulations.
EnVision’s in-house developed GIS-based data management platform was used to support the success of the project. This platform boasts automatic post-data processing capabilities and offers a user-friendly visualization of results, with just a single click. The platform includes an embedded automatic notification function, ensuring that any non-compliances are promptly detected and communicated to relevant parties. This allows stakeholders to respond in a timely manner and implement any necessary mitigation measures. EnVision tailored the platform to align with the client’s specific job requirements, enhancing it with interactive functions. This customization allowed the client to easily access the information relevant to their interests and needs. Through the platform, over 60% of the sensors and instruments are remotely controlled and wirelessly connected to the centralized server, making adjustments to monitoring frequency or updating criteria significantly more efficient and cost-effective.
